The system we apply on large industrial roofs, delivered in buckets with the exact quantity for your area. An ordinary white paint reflects 70 to 80 % and greys within two summers; PrimaTherm® reflects 95 %, reaches an SRI of 120 and keeps it thanks to its anti-soiling topcoat. Coat 1. Anchors the system to the substrate (bitumen, steel deck), blocks bitumen bleeding, binds chalky surfaces and stabilises spots of corrosion. Dilute 10 % with water for roller application. 6 m²/L on rough substrates, 10 m²/L on smooth ones.
Coats 2 and 3. The certified reflective coating: 95 % solar reflectance, 0.89 emissivity, SRI 120 (ASTM). Elastic (over 300 %), waterproof. Ready to use, two crossed coats, 2 m²/L in total (0.5 L/m²).
Coat 4. UV protection, self-cleaning, whiteness and therefore reflectance preserved over time (SRI retained after 4,000 h QUV). 10 m²/L, one thin coat of 100 to 125 µm wet.
The values below come from the test reports of the PrimaTherm® system and from measurements on our own projects; indoor gains depend on insulation and ventilation.
The surface of a dark roof exceeds 60 °C in summer. Coated, it stays between 25 and 35 °C.

The three products of the system, in the quantities calculated for your area: PH169A adhesion primer (10 L buckets), PH107 reflective base (15 L buckets, applied in two coats) and PH107TCL anti-soiling topcoat (10 L buckets), i.e. four coats. The roller application guide, the technical data sheets and the test reports are supplied. Rollers, brush and cleaning equipment are not included.
Four coats for three products: one coat of PH169A primer, two crossed coats of PH107 reflective base (the first thin, the second heavier, 24 hours apart), then one thin coat of PH107TCL topcoat. Never apply the base in a single thick coat.
On a rough substrate (bitumen): primer with a 20–22 mm long-pile roller, topcoat with a 12 mm short-pile roller. On a smooth substrate (steel deck): primer 12 mm short pile, base 18 mm long pile, topcoat 12 mm short pile. Add a cutting-in brush for upstands and equipment feet.
Primer: dry in 2 hours, recoatable after 16 hours. PH107 base: rain-proof in 4 hours, recoatable in 24 to 48 hours depending on conditions. Topcoat: rain-proof in 2 hours. Values at 20 °C and 60 % humidity; allow more in cool or damp weather.
The PH169A primer is diluted with 10 % water for roller application. The PH107 base and the PH107TCL topcoat are ready to use and are never diluted. Mix each bucket at slow speed without introducing air. Never mix the products together.
Anti-moss treatment if needed (no chlorine-based products), medium-pressure water cleaning (below 130 bar), removal of debris, drying for 24 to 72 hours. The substrate must be sound, dry, cohesive and free of grease. Repair cracks before coating.
Yes, the configurator calculates up to 5,000 m². Above 500 m², application by our teams is however often the better option: no lifting equipment, ten-year insurance, after a free study that measures the roof by satellite. Ask for it before ordering.
Delivery is free in mainland France (3 to 8 working days). In the European Union, a flat rate per country and number of buckets is calculated in the cart: Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Germany from €49 (1 to 2 buckets) to €199 (pallet), 4 to 10 working days; Spain, Portugal, Italy, Austria, Ireland from €69 to €299, 5 to 12 working days. The SRI is maintained after 4,000 hours of accelerated QUV ageing; the conventional service life is 20 years (French energy-savings certificate sheet). A low-pressure water rinse every 12 to 15 months keeps the surface white.
