Waterproofing ages prematurely

The PrimaTherm® system is a reflective coating in 4 layers, bonding primer, reflective base in two coats, anti-soiling topcoat, applied directly on your existing roof: steel deck, bitumen membrane or EPDM.
It reflects 95 % of solar radiation and re-emits the absorbed heat (emissivity 0.89). The surface drops from about 60 °C to 30 °C, the cooling load falls, comfort returns, with no structural work, no interruption of activity and no lifting: drums and machines stay on the ground.

How much can a cool roof really save?
Up to −40 % of air-conditioning consumption depending on the climate zone, insulation and use of the building, and up to −6 °C felt indoors. We quantify the range in the free study, from your real consumption data, never from a catalogue.
Is my roof compatible with the PrimaTherm® coating?
Steel deck, bitumen membrane and EPDM make up most of our projects. PVC membranes only if laid more than 10 years ago (specific system with a PH107PVC bonding coat). Fibre cement only when asbestos-free. The diagnosis checks the substrate and adhesion before any commitment.
Do I lose heat in winter?
Marginally. The low winter sun mostly hits façades, hardly roofs. The winter loss stays far below the summer gains: the yearly balance is positive everywhere in France, all the more so in the south.
Is a coating really serious compared with re-roofing?
PrimaTherm® is a 4-layer system (PH169 primer, PH107 reflective base in two coats, PH107TCL anti-soiling topcoat), applied according to the manufacturer’s protocol with thickness checks and a site record. It protects the existing waterproofing from thermal shocks; it replaces neither insulation nor waterproofing that has reached the end of its life.
Do you work on sites in operation?
Yes, that is our standard case. Drums and machines stay on the ground, only hoses go up to the roof: no crane, no road closure, no interruption of activity. Our aerospace and rail projects were carried out under prevention plans on secured sites.
Which incentives apply in France?
The French energy-savings certificate scheme (CEE, standard sheet BAT-EN-112) covers air-conditioned commercial buildings under conditions: 160, 170 or 270 kWh cumac per m² depending on the climate zone. Public bodies can use the Fonds Vert. We check your eligibility during the study.
