The context
A food-processing plant in the La Rochelle area, 3,000 m² of south-facing roof, temperature-controlled workshops and refrigeration units reaching their limits every summer. The PrimaTherm® system was applied in four layers.
What it changes for a food-industry site
Less heat coming in through the roof, so less strain on the refrigeration units and a more stable workshop temperature, without touching the process. The same reasoning applies to cold-storage warehouses and processing sites: see cool roof for industrial buildings and our Périgny reference (cured-meat plant, −35 % electricity consumption for refrigeration).
