Measured result: Roof space from 50 to 30 °C, −35 % electricity consumption for refrigeration
The context
A cured-meat plant in Périgny, near La Rochelle: 2,000 m² of steel deck, a roof space at 50 °C in summer, overheating that led to premature spoilage of the products and pushed the refrigeration units into overdrive.
The results
After application of the PrimaTherm® system in four layers: roof temperature halved, roof space from 50 to 30 °C, and −35 % electricity consumption for refrigeration recorded by the operator.
